
Amanda Haimoto Rudd is a queer, Japanese American woman who writes fantasy and science fiction. Her short story, “In the Empty Rooms,” was published in Haven Speculative (August 2023). She is an alumna of the Futurescapes Writers’ Workshop (2022). In addition, she has a M.A. degree and is ABD in English and American Literature from University of Houston, specializing in Science Fiction Studies and Postmodernism, with several published academic articles.
